Vibrant LGBTQ+ band Livtar have dropped the interesting new single, ‘Alone (Not Lonely)’. It’s a sarcastic love song built on a funky guitar loop that helps push that distinctive indie sound, with a slightly left-field songwriting style inspired by Elliot Smith and smatterings of electronica influences keeping things fresh. The band have developed a unique sound that blends perfectly with their lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek persona, which the track’s accompanying music video shines a light on. Simultaneously, they don’t shy away from some truly poetic lyricism: ‘Everywhere I go, I follow your ghosts.
